so lets set this world on fire...

new things new things..
So i turned in my 2 week notice last week and next Friday will be my last day as an employee of LabCorp. Bittersweet really. I love my patients. Theyre mostly very kind, gentle, sweet people. Them I will miss. But I am starting on my second Bachelors degree on May 2..go me go me..:) Im excited. End of next year I should be graduating with my BS in Healthcare Administration. Moving on up that ladder..

Side note NOT known to public (ie FACEBOOK) yet..lol We are buying a boat. Its awesome. Its amazing. And it so damn fun. Weve been shopping for months to find the perfect one. Living at the beach, youd think this was easier than it is, but theres SO many to choose from!! We have the loan..we have the approval..we are taking it for a seatrial this Sunday and if it drives half as good as it looks, itll be ours on Sunday. EXCITED!!!! :D more to come..oh yea its a 21ft center console..has a T-Top..its aaaaaaawesome!

Also, we have made *finally* an appointment with an IVF/Reproductive Specialist. Big stuff ahead for me and my Jim obviously. Apparently, IVF will take anywhere from 10 months to 18 months to complete. So we are starting the process this summer. and i hope hope HOPE we have a little bun in someones oven by next summer. *fingers crossed* the hard part is finding a surrogate. We can pay one we dont know for like $30000 but seriously?! Im in the market for a compassionate surrogate as they call them...usually a friend or family member. we put them on our insurance..pay for clothes..food..cravings..etc. anyway..wish us luck..I cant wait to be a boat owning..SUV driving mommy...and i have two out of three..HA!

One day our generation is going to rule the population...

Soooo...Ive neglected my tiny home on the interwebz...alas, I return...with...news?

We (Jim and I) have an appointment May 8 at the Center for Reproductive Technology. This is great news! Our first step in having a mini Graves. Its terrifying. Its exciting. All these things. I have one little ovary in me. Thats it. Im hoping and praying its working like it should. Theyre going to give us all the details on what we need to do and where to start. Its very daunting, looking into surrogacy. Very. People take it for granted that they can do the nasty and get preggo. Doesnt work for all of us...the plus side to that though, is I have no worry of surprise pregnancies and can plan WHEN it happens..(oh and the never have another period again by at 29 isnt so shabby itself). So yea. They said the entire process will take up to 18 months. I have to find a surrogate...take hormones...blah blah blah..many many steps but im ready for this. I am So very ready to see my husband and I create this tiny human. Ours. Yes, technically itd be easier to adopt. Im aware of this. But i swear if one.more.person informs me 'why dont you just adopt, itd be soooooooo much easier?' Im going to go to jail. Eh. This is why we arent telling many people. pretty much just our parents and best friends. I do not need the added stress and NOSINESS of 'friends' advice. Yes you have a child. No, I do not need any advice. Your vagina works. Get it?
bitter, party of one? sorry....I digress...
I have hope. Valid, shiny hope. I want Jim and I to have a baby. A healthy, brand new, shiny baby. And i cant wait. Being a mother is very important to me. So yea. Thats our update. May 8.
I start college again for degree #2 on May 2
I start looking into babies May 8...
Me thinks May is going to be interesting...;)
